The separate fibers are tight buffered with aramid yarn and jacketed with blue numbered LSZH material. An inner common jacket is protected by a layer of aramid yarn which protects the fibers against mechanical and heat impact, as well as rodent attacks. It is designed for safe communication and data transmission in shipboard- and offshore installations close to electrical machinery and power lines. It is also well suited for harsh industrial environments.
